1. Introduction

Clever Hub (Private) Limited (“CleverHub”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), a company incorporated in Sri Lanka under registration number PV00308620 with its registered office at No. 55, Hussain Avenue, Matale, 21000, Sri Lanka, is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and safeguard your information when you visit cleverhub.lk or use any of our products and services (collectively, the “Services”).

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account & contact details: name, email address, phone number, company name, billing address, and login credentials.
  • Payment information: processed by PayHere (our authorised payment processor). We do not store your full card number, CVV, or banking credentials on our servers.
  • Project & usage data:information you submit to us as part of an engagement, files uploaded, prompts, feedback, and the way you interact with our Services.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, operating system, referring URLs, pages visited, and cookies (see Section 7).

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To deliver, maintain, and improve our Services.
  • To process payments and issue invoices and receipts.
  • To communicate with you regarding your account, projects, and support requests.
  • To send service announcements and, where permitted, marketing communications (you can opt out at any time).
  • To prevent fraud, abuse, and to enforce our Terms & Conditions.
  • To comply with applicable laws and lawful requests by public authorities.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

We process personal data on the basis of (a) performance of a contract with you, (b) your consent, (c) our legitimate business interests, and/or (d) compliance with a legal obligation under Sri Lankan law, including the Personal Data Protection Act No. 9 of 2022.

5. Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with:

  • Service providers who help us operate our business (e.g. PayHere for payment processing, cloud hosting providers, email delivery services, analytics providers). These parties are contractually bound to protect your information.
  • AI model providers (such as OpenAI or Anthropic) where required to deliver a specific feature you have requested.
  • Authorities when required by law, court order, or to protect our rights, property, or safety.
  • Successors in interest in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of company assets.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal data for as long as necessary to provide the Services, to comply with our legal obligations (including tax and accounting requirements), to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. When data is no longer required, we securely delete or anonymise it.

7. Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, understand how the Services are used, and improve performance. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the site may not function as intended.

11. Children’s Privacy

Our Services are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us so we can delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a revised “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you by email.
